Dr. H. Ömer TONTUŞ
Born on 1964 in Elbistan, Kahramanmaraş; I graduated from Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty on 1987 and assumed the title of general surgery specialist on 1993. After performing as both physician and director in several agency and institutions at home and abroad, I was assigned as the Member of Ondokuz Mayıs University Head Department of Medicine and Faculty Board of Management and then as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in the same university. During performing as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, I was assigned as the General Director of General Directorate of the Health Promotion. Besides refereeing and deputy editor duties in several journals, I have approximately 50 published scientific articles. Furthermore; I have an assessment and evaluation in medical education-themed book which is in the phase of publishing, and have conducted software studies. Apart from travelling and reading, I have an interest in detailed antique collection of 17th and 18th centenarian British sterling silver.
