Mozilla Firefok güvensiz bulduğu bütün eklentileri engellemeye başladı... Üstelik bu engellenen eklentiler arasında Java, AVG, Apple QuickTime Plugin, Yahoo ve Skype vede IDM gibi devlerin eklentileride var..

En önemli açık ise Java Deployment Toolkit içerisinde yer alıyor. Java'da daha önce de çeşitli açıklar bulunmuş ancak Oracle tarafından hızla yamanmıştı.
