GOM Player (Gretech Online Movie Player), popüler ses ve görüntü çözücülerini kendi içerisinde barındıran ücretsiz bir video oynatıcıdır. GOM Player sisteminizde kuruluysa başka bir çözücü (codec) paketi yüklemenize gerek yoktur, eğer oynatamadığı bir video ile karşılaşırsa program içerisinden size bu paketi indirebilmeniz için yol gösterilmektedir.

GOM Player yazılımının en önemli özelliği her video dosyasını sorunsuz ve hızlı bir şekilde açabilmesidir. Henüz indirme işlemi tamamlanmamış video dosyalarını dahi indirildiği kadarıyla görüntüleyebilmenizi sağlamaktadır, bozuk video dosyalarını da oynatabilmektedir. DVD ve VCD disklerinizi oynatabilir, film ile aynı isimdeki altyazıları otomatik olarak gösterebilir. Altyazı ile ilgili çok gelişmiş bir destek sunar, kendi içerisinde tümleşik olarak bir altyazı editörü de barındırmaktadır.

Programın kurulumundan hemen sonra gelen sihirbazı ile bilgisayarınız için en uygun şekilde kullanabilmenizi sağlar. Neredeyse tüm video ve ses formatlarını çok hızlı bir şekilde görüntülemenizi sağlar. Ekran görüntüsü yakalama, m3u, pls, asx gibi oynatma listelerini destekleme gibi ek özellikleri de barındırmaktadır. Son derece kolay bir kullanıma ve basit bir arayüze sahip GOM Player yazılımının en beğendiğimiz özelliklerinden biri de kablosuz fare ile kolaylıkla yönetebilmesidir.
