Mozillla firefox'un tüm eklentilerini çalıştırır gerçekten firefox'a göre hem kendisinin açlış hızı hem internet sayfalarının açılış hızında fark var.ben test ettim firefox'dan daha hızlı çalışıyor.şu an 3.6.2 sürümü yeni çıktı güncellendi.

pale moon aşağıdakilere göre test edilmiştir.

  • Graphics heavy art sites
  • Static HTML sites with many elements
  • DHTML/CSS sites
  • SSL/heavy authentication sites
  • Flash sites

pale moon modifiye edilmemiştir firefoxla bire bir aynı hızlandırıcı özel kodlarla hızlandırılmıştır.
First off: the source code used for ****** program functions to build Pale Moon is completely unmodified,

yüzde yüz firefox kaynaklı

ihtiyaç fazlası ram devre dışı bırakılıyor opsiyonel olarak sunuluyor diğer kalan ram'in kullanılışı

Why settle for a basic build of your Firefox browser on Windows Operating Systems when you can have one that performs 25% faster? Mozilla does not provide optimized browser packages for Windows, while many Linux ("from scratch") users get the advantage of a browser built specifically for their system. That needs to change! So, here is the Pale Moon project: Custom-built and optimized Firefox browsers for Windows Operating Systems. Make sure to get the most speed out of your browser!

Of course, getting a faster browser is not just about optimizing the compilation process (building a program from its source code), but also about carefully choosing features and how to choose the best setup. This means that this browser, however extremely close to Firefox, does not have all the functions that Firefox has. A few, carefully selected, features have been disabled that are not in high demand, and that do not interfere with the way web pages are displayed or function; all to maximize speed and efficiency of the browser. Please see the page with technical details to learn exactly what the browser supports, and what it doesn't support. In short, if you need accessibility features or parental controls, then please visit the firefox homepage and get the official, non-optimized build.

To download the current version* of the Pale Moon browser, please go to the download page.

arada firefox da kendisini düşünmesi lazım... doğru yapılan her işin yanındayız...

doğru kararlar ile firefox altyapısı kullanılarak geliştirilmiş güzel bir proje.

How different is this browser from Firefox?

The differences are small, but significant.

First off: the source code used for ****** program functions to build Pale Moon is completely unmodified, this means that whatever functionality there is in the Firefox code, will also exist in Pale Moon, with the exception of the parts of Firefox that aren't included in Pale Moon (and apparently, some of the bugs excluded by not building everything the Firefox source code contains are of significant impact). This also means that, under the MPL (Mozilla Public License), it suffices for me to provide a link to the Firefox source code as published by Mozilla, since nothing in it was changed. This link can be found at the bottom of this page.

Secondly:
The build environment used is significantly different from the "stock" Mozilla build environment used for Firefox. One major difference for 3.5 is that a different SDK (Software Development Kit) by Microsoft is used, resulting in using a different set of libraries (standard functions) than the Mozilla build. The impact of this is quite big: it uses different run-time code and it removes certain ways of being able to talk to the Windows Vista user interface specifically, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It improves stand-alone stability, but possibly breaks some advanced, integrated functions of system tweaking tools or addons that rely on the specific implementation of the SDK used by Mozilla in Firefox 3.0 and later browsers.
Starting with the 3.6 version, as part of redesigning the build environment, the Windows 7 SDK has been incorporated to give Pale Moon the full range of Windows Vista and Windows 7 functionality. A major part of the reason has been that the source code for Firefox 3.6-release has been changed in such a way that it was no longer possible to get a stable build using the 200x Server SDK (which I prefer). Quote from Mozilla about this: "Unfortunately, the Windows 7 SDK is required to build Mozilla normally, because of dependencies on Vista and Windows 7-specific APIs."

Thirdly:
Some functions have been completely disabled to cut down on input complexity, unnecessary/unused code and to remove ActiveX functionality, a technology that is specific to Internet Explorer only (ActiveX controls don't work in a stock Firefox). This also improves stability and speed.

Fourth:
Up to and including version 3.5.6.1, a different compiler was used. Firefox for Windows is normally built using Microsoft Visual C++ 8 or 9, but I've been using a slightly older version of Visual Studio (.NET 2003). This means different code is generated, and different run-time libraries are needed (they are included with the browser), but it also means that I have better control over code generation (Microsoft has removed some advanced compiler control in later versions of their compiler - don't ask me why).
This has been changed for version 3.6, since the source code became unforgiving towards older Visual Studio versions. The drawback is less control over the code generated by the compiler. Even with less control, the ****** compilation from source is done is much, much more optimized way than Mozilla does (geared towards speed instead of size/compatibility) which results in a significantly different final result. I will still be looking at using the compiler I have been using until now, since it simply gives a leaner, faster result. Depending on stability, I may stay with VC8 or go back to VC7 in future releases.

Last but not least:
a stock Firefox executable is built to run on, by today's standards, ancient hardware (are you still running a first generation Pentium processor? I wouldn't think so). The build environment used for Pale Moon allows for specific optimizations in the building process that actually uses the capabilities of the computer hardware it runs on (specifically: advanced processing instructions) and gears the machine code at the assembly level specifically towards certain generations of processors, as opposed to trying to compromise for different ways of working of old hardware. This is the biggest contributor to the speed increase seen in Pale Moon, as it impacts every aspect of the browser, from loading pages to drawing graphics and running scripts.

So, overall, the differences with Firefox are mostly due to build environment and configuration of the building process, and none of them are because the ****** program code has been changed. Functionality-wise, for any part except those specifically disabled (either explicitly or inherently) Pale Moon is exactly the same as a Mozilla Firefox build. That being said though, the ****** resulting program code (executable machine code) is significantly different from a Mozilla-built Firefox executable.
So why not just call it "Optimized Firefox", you might think? Well, the answer to that is simple: Mozilla has a trademark on the name Firefox, the Firefox Logo and related "Firefox" or "Mozilla Firefox" names and images, and does not allow any but their own builds (and very select contributed builds) to carry the name or logo for anything but personal use (distribution of own builds carrying the Firefox name or logo is strictly prohibited). The reason for this is that Mozilla wants to keep strict control over what is called "Firefox" as they want to make sure it "meets quality standards" (interpret this at will, people). Using the freedom of the MPL, I have therefore branded the browser Pale Moon, to clearly identify this browser as an individual product, not related to Mozilla or official Firefox installations. Like Mozilla, I rely on all of the contributors to this Open Source project for the supplied program code and development of new versions. The Mozilla Corporation didn't program firefox, the community did. This also means that, like Mozilla, I retain the rights to the Pale Moon project name, graphics and logo; they may not be used elsewhere without prior permission, and only in relation to this browser.
