This message usually occurs after a CPU or Motherboard replacement, the motherboard does not recognise the stepping of the CPU. To fix this you need to run a microcode update, this patch is sometimes referred to as a P6Disk and can be downloaded from the downloads web site (http://www.fujitsu-siemens.com/support/downloads.html). It is usually found under the drivers for the individual PC or by typing "microcode" in the full text search box. Once downloaded double click the "exe" file and it will create a bootable floppy disk. Boot from this disk to perform the update.
